The initial 2018 standardization efforts will not solve every problem that the community faces, but it creates a strong foundation upon which on-going work can build. More so, it is not the intention of the OSP Steering team to suggesting that all outcomes efforts and reporting mandates the inclusion each item that follows, rather the ideas is that if these terms are used in outcomes efforts and reporting, that these standardized definitions be universally applied.
Importantly, this is just the beginning. Moving into 2019 as we begin to disseminate the initial OSP Tool we will simultaneously be identifying the next 10-20 terms, concepts, or best practices that should be standardized and we will repeat the process.
It our our goal to publish an expanded version of the OSP every six months...this is intended to be a truly ever-green project.
